Planning is one of the most basic human drivers. We plan what we will wear, what route we will take to work and how our day will unfold. Our work isn't much different. Planning for the future isn't just for succession planning or programming. It helps us to know what we are doing today, next year and in three years.
There are different ways to plan and not every planning solution is right for every stage of the planning process. Let's talk about ways that we can think of planning from the bottom to the top of an organization.
Once we take a view of what our resources are, what barriers or challenges we have to work around and what our end goals are, we have to make a plan to get there. In this session, we will take a look at some different tools that your agency can use to come up with a road map, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction.
