Action Resources International (ARI) AmeriCorps Rural Intermediary Program partners with small, rural, and fledgling community-based organizations to help them become national service sites and bring AmeriCorps members to serve in their organization’s missions to better their communities. AmeriCorps members strengthen and support organizations by improving their infrastructure, expanding community partnerships, securing long-term resources, training program participants, and developing other activities that help build long term sustainability for overcoming poverty, food security, health disparities, and increasing community-based voice and leadership for safety, health and wellness.
The ARI AmeriCorps Programs works to make these federal programs (AmeriCorps SN and AmeriCorps VISTA) more accessible to organizations working towards healthier, happier, and just communities and is always seeking new partnerships with organizations and nonprofits looking to grow their capacity to serve. Through partnering with the program organization’s gain one-on-one consult with ARI program staff to assess an organization's needs and guide them through the process of becoming a national service site as well as ongoing training, supervision, guidance, and administrative support with recruiting, enrolling, and managing AmeriCorps members.
