Issues We Care About Most

Community Services Block Grant
The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a federally funded block grant in the Office of Community Services, Administration for Children and Families, United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides funds to states, territories, and tribes to administer to support services that alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty in under resourced communities. Tribes, territories, and over 1,000 local Community Action Agencies provide CSBG funded services and activities including housing, nutrition, utility, and transportation assistance; employment, education, and other income and asset building services; crisis and emergency services; and community asset building initiatives, among other things. Over 9 million individuals are served by CSBG-funded programs annually.

Poverty Initiatives
Did you know that 1 in 8 Wyomingites live in poverty? We believe no one should have to choose between paying for food or housing. Through advocacy and action, we’re addressing the root causes of poverty, empowering individuals and families to achieve economic stability.
Through programs such as helping fund food banks, access to rural healthcare, and providing access to homeless shelters. CSNOW cares about uplifting Wyomingites out of poverty.

Housing
Housing is more than a roof over your head; it is the foundation of stability. We’re advocating for policies and initiatives that create more affordable housing options for Wyoming residents, ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home.
Through programs such as rental assistance, weathorization and more we help keep a roof over Wyoming residents heads.
Call To Action
